Sr. Director of Finance
Silver Tiger Consulting provides retained recruiting for a number of clients. One of our clients, CTA Construction Managers, is an award-winning, ENR top 100 Green Contractor based in Waltham, MA. CTA specializes in large scale, complex, state of the art, LEED certified buildings throughout Massachusetts. They are currently seeking a Sr. Director of Finance
Our client, CTA Construction Co, Inc., is an award-winning construction management and general contracting firm with a history of excellence in building academic, multi-family residential, commercial, civic, retail, senior care, and hospitality facilities. Based in Waltham, Massachusetts, CTA Construction's portfolio includes construction projects totaled over $1.5 billion. In addition, CTA has awarded over $100,000,000 in contracts to certified small, disadvantaged, minority, and women owned partners. They are actively seeking a full-time Sr. Director of Finance to join their accounting team. We are actively assisting them in the pre-screening process for this position. Health insurance is 100% paid for this full-time role- there is no employee contribution required.
Reports To: CEO
The Sr. Finance Director reports to the CEO and is responsible for all accounts receivable, accounts payable, payroll, financial statements, budgets, cash forecasts, and file maintenance for applicable entities.
Results oriented, hands-on professional with construction accounting experience and the ability to deal effectively and interact well with customers, subcontractors/vendors, and employees. Must have the ability to resolve problems/conflicts in a diplomatic and tactful manner.
Responsibilities include (but are not limited to):
Oversight of the Accounts Payable Processes, Including:
· Audit of PO process
· Preparation of contract schedules
· Audit invoice entry to A/P system
· Processing of supplier payments
· Administering automatic payments
· Reconciliation of supplier statements
Oversight of the Billing/Accounts Receivable processes, including:
Production of monthly AIA style billing
Audit work order billing
Application of customer payments
Collections
Process weekly payroll entries
Bank reconciliations
Prepare general ledger journal entries
Preparation and analysis of monthly Financial Statements, including reconciliation of all Balance Sheet Accounts
Tie Out Monthly WIP schedule
Administration of corporate credit card charges
Assist management in budgeting process
Forecast weekly cash requirements
Qualifications and Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or a related field
CPA desired but not required
Proven background in commercial property maintenance, construction management, construction administration or a related field
Minimum 5 years practical accounting experience, including experience with job cost accounting
Minimum of 2 years managerial experience in an accounting environment
Knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Work with Project Managers and Operations Team a plus
Experience with ERP and accounting software systems required. Experience with Computerease a plus

Physical Demands and Requirements:
This position requires the employee to sit and/or stand for a majority of the day. Constant hearing, seeing, talking, communicating, reading, writing, and typing in an indoor environment. This is an on-site position, not a remote position.

Salary: $105,000.00 - $140,000.00 per year plus bonus depending on experience
