As part of our business startup solutions, we can provide any of the following services in a single consultation session; covering all topics typically takes 6 sessions. Please note: when scheduling out 2-6 sessions, it is recommended to allow at least 1 day in between so our team can adequately prepare for each session. We'll cover as many of the topics you list as we can in the first session and then plan the rest accordingly.
1. Assistance setting up an LLC, if needed (registration is that day; confirmation from the Secretary of State usually takes 24-48 hours which we will download and email you from the site along with the link to see your articles of organization ); NOTE: for setting up an S-Corp or C-Corp, we can connect you with the appropriate resources to assist you in complying with regulations and requirements associated with this type of entity.
2. Assistance obtaining an EIN number (that day- you'll leave with the IRS letter downloaded so you can take it to you bank, etc.)
3. Assistance registering your domain name (so you own it!) if needed for future web sites and emails (that day)
4. Assistance with obtaining needed insurance for your business to be able to apply for contracts (introductions, what is needed, etc. will be done that day).
5. Directions and download of forms and assistance completing forms if needed to obtain business license for town/city you will be registered in.
6. Basic overview on how to manage, track, and separate business funds from personal funds so you can be on the path of qualifying for financing if needed.
7. A profit and loss template and review of how to use it to help you get started tracking revenue and expenses.
Our setup services for the above information can be typically covered in four 45 minute sessions. Single sessions are also available to get started on individual topics above.
8. Assistance setting up payroll, including prevailing wage payroll

1. Assistance in filing for your HIC License- Residential Construction
2. Residential Construction: Assistance in creating an initial contract template for progressive or milestone customer invoicing.
3. Commercial Construction: Assistance in creating an initial contract template for progressive billing; please note learning to create and maintain a WIP Schedule and getting set up on AIA Style Invoicing is a separate program we offer, not included in Business Start Up Services.
